Ratings and reviews

The app as limited and difficult to use, and strangely shows only a small part of a family tree at once. The DNA kit gives interesting but extremely vague data, thats interesting for about 10 minutes. They generously give a one month free trial to their mediocre service that automatically renews for, a 50% discounted price of, £114 for an annual plan that I wouldn't willing pay £14 for.

Signed up for the free trial to check it out, supposed to end on the 23rd but I cannot today I am unable to access anything. Emailed customer service and they said I canceled, although I did not. They would not reinstate trial. The few hours of research I did had a lot of contradictory information which gave us more questions than answers. Apparently they don't let you finish your free trial if you cancel before the two weeks which seems like very shady business practice.

No prior notification or email from myHeritage to advise that my subscription was about to expire. I signed up for one year and i thought no autorenewal. Then got email at lunchtime today to say my subscription had renewed. I checked bank account and $516.35 New Zealand dollars was taken from my account. When I previously signed up last year it was $103.27 This new amount is shocking. I'm so angry and upset. I haven't even used the site since I signed up as its always in a foreign language.
