Start by navigating using GPS-enabled directions to within 30 feet of the cache — then your real search begins. Geocaches are hidden out of sight, often disguised, to only be found by the people who are trying to find them.
 
Geocaches come in all shapes, sizes, and types — and some may be more cleverly deceptive than you can even imagine. Cache owners will always include a log book for you to sign to record your successful find. Larger containers might also include some treasures to be traded or moved to other cache locations — like with trackable tags, personal keepsakes, and the occasional geocoin hoping to be passed on to the next adventurer. Once you are done with the container, simply place it back exactly as you found it for the next explorer to discover.

Ratings and reviews

The app itself is fine-ish, but the modal upsell window is pretty annoying. But for me the most irritating issue was the captcha encountered for signing up and then also when trying to delete my account afterwards. It's the Google one (reCAPTCHA) and it's fully buggy, essentially never granting you "human" status. This isn't necessarily the app developers' fault per se, but regardless, my user experience was bad.

I don't even have premium I've just been doing the free version and honestly it's been fun! Instead of waiting 20 minutes in the car for an appointment I pull up the app and most of the time there is a cache within 5 minutes from me I can knock out. Found an awesome trail from one too that i didn't realize was close by and my dog and I now go there almost 3 times a week. 100% plan on upgrading in the future but for now the free version is spot on and fun enough.

This app is Amazing! The only thing is that I wish it had more features that the website has, for example: Requesting owner/reviewer attention, removing favorite points, geocaching store, creating caches, and managing trackables. I'm tired of constantly switching between the app and website so PLEASE MAKE THEESE CHANGES!
