About this app

The purpose of this application is to record text changes (keystrokes) in text input fields in order to recover them later if they were accidentally deleted. The recorded text is being stored on the device in a secure and private folder which is accessible only by the application. The data will not be transferred or shared with other applications or out of the device without the explicit intention of the user.

Accessibility Service «Typing Logger» must be activated manually so that this application can work properly. Using Accessibility Service allows the application to record text changes in text input fields. Excluded from recording are passwords and text in sensitive applications.

This works well and does exactly what it says. For being a free app, that's awesome. The only reason I left 1 star off is because I wish the actual navigation and controls were more versatile. It just provides a single block of text as a running daily log. That's fine, but there are no options for anything like searching, batch deleting, file export, redundancy prevention, trends, or anything else. All you can do is copy or delete a single day, otherwise comb through the entire log manually.

great app, but i really wanted to use it to analyze how much i type every day. unfortunately, i can't do that, because it keeps capturing large sections of my text and repeating them whenever i make a mistake, instead of actually just capturing keystrokes. so, that does make it ideal for its intended purpose of helping you never lose anything you type, but i can't use it for what i was hoping to use it for. but still giving 5 stars for an awesome product.

I like that fact it works but there should be more options like hiding the icon or making it so no one can open the app without a password or by going to manage apps and seeing it there and opening it to disable its function. Once my wife learned I had this app she quickly found other ways to disable it so I couldn't track what she was up to. Should only be opened by a password or pin, save data to account if app deleted or uninstalled, enable it to be backed up or recoverable then it's perfect
