About this app

Running a church is a lot. You have members to keep track of, events to plan, visitors who walk in on a Sunday morning and need a follow up by Tuesday, donations to reconcile, rosters to fill, and a weekly rhythm that does not stop. Altario is built for the people who keep all of that running.

Altario is the mobile companion to altario.app. Pastors, church admins, and lead volunteers use it on the go. Everything syncs with the web in real time, so when the office secretary adds a member on Monday morning it is on your phone by the time you open it.

Dashboard first
Open the app and you see where your church is right now. Members, families, upcoming events, giving for the month. Pull to refresh. No digging through menus to find the number you want.

Members and families
Search by name, browse by family, tap into a profile to see contact details, role, family grouping, and a photo if you have one. Add a new member or a new family in under a minute. Group by campus, small group, ministry, or whatever categories you have set up.

Events and attendance
See what is coming up this week and what is on the calendar next month. Tap into an event to see who said they would be there, who actually showed up, edit the details if the time changed, or share the event straight to a WhatsApp group. The calendar keeps working even if your phone briefly loses signal.

Newcomer pipeline
When someone fills out the I am new here form at the back of your building, the submission lands in the app. Review it, add a quick note, and promote them into your follow up pipeline with one tap. You will never lose another visitor in a pile of paper cards.

Giving and donations
Admins can see every donation as it comes in. Totals for the week, the month, the year. If you need to look at a specific transaction in Stripe, the app deep links you there instead of making you find the Stripe dashboard on a laptop.

Communication that actually reaches people
Send a WhatsApp message or an email broadcast to a group, a family, or a single person. Save templates so you are not rewriting the same Sunday reminder every week. See a history of what went out and when.

Sunday School, worship roster, and team roles
Manage your classes, assign worship team members to a service, and set staff roles and permissions. The same data your web team is working with, always in sync. No double entry, no spreadsheet sent around after the fact.

Sign in your way
Use email and password, sign in with Google, or use your Apple ID. Add a Face ID or Touch ID lock if you want an extra layer before the app opens.

Built for phones, tablets, and both platforms
Runs natively on Android and iOS. Full tablet layouts for iPad or a large Android tablet. Light mode, dark mode, or follow the system. Readable fonts, sensible spacing, no cramped UI.

Multilingual
English and German today. More languages as we grow.

Privacy and trust
Your church data lives on Google Cloud. Everything in transit is encrypted. Requests from the app are verified by Firebase App Check (Play Integrity on Android, App Attest on iOS), so unknown clients cannot hit your backend. We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. Deleting your account
If you ever want to leave, you can delete your account from inside the app. Open Settings, tap your profile, scroll to Danger Zone, confirm with your password, and your account and church data are removed. No emailing support and waiting a week.
