Tavo is an AMAZING app for roleplay, especially if you're a mobile-only roleplayer. Keep in mind that it is a frontend program and you'll need to bring your own API key. (The API key is what accesses the LLM—the AI you'll be interacting with.) Tavo itself is basically like SillyTavern (ST) lite. If you're interested in ST, it's a great way to learn how ST works, and is a perfect mobile option for ST users, as you can import/export characters, chats, and lorebooks between the two.

The app is really amazing. Heavily customable. Provides a sillytavern like experience. The closest any app has ever come. Truly impressive. Why three stars? Because there is an annoying feature in the input tab. Let's say you are typing a long paragraph and you are at line #5. You notice a typo you have made on line #2 and you click on the word. What the app does is it selects everything in between the these boundaries. You cannot double tap or do anything at all to fix it. Please fix this.

The go to frontend app for enthusiasts of Sillytavern, it's a convenient installation and it plays nice with my local llm setup. When people say it doesn't work, it's because this is not meant to operate the way chat apps through micropayments normally work. Like a strange rash I want to show this app to everyone who likes AI roleplay xD
