About this app
Bring your content to the big screen with PrismaCast: web videos, photos, music, documents and IPTV playlists in an interface designed for your phone.
VIDEOS AND PLATFORMS
Open YouTube, Twitch, Vimeo or Dailymotion and cast a supported video or live stream without sharing the whole page. Find YouTube Music in the Music space. A separate browser remains available for your other websites.
YOUR FILES AND NETWORK
Choose videos, photos, music and PDFs with the Android file picker. Access folders and UPnP, WebDAV, SMB or FTP/FTPS servers. Google Drive and Dropbox are available when their providers appear in your phone’s file picker.
IPTV AND M3U
Import your own playlists, switch groups, search for channels and keep your favorites. PrismaCast supplies no channels or IPTV subscriptions.
WHITEBOARD AND GAMES ON TV
Draw, add notes and a background image, then cast only your board. Build a library of Android games to run on your phone and view on TV. Screen sharing always requires Android consent. The free PrismaCast TV receiver, installed separately on a compatible Android TV device, offers direct transport for the board and games. Delay depends on your network and receiver.
PLAYER AND REMOTE
Pause, resume, seek, queue, volume and subtitles depend on receiver capabilities. Use the TV remote on supported devices, or the Bluetooth gamepad mode with compatible Android TV devices.
COMPATIBILITY
Google Cast, Chromecast, Android TV, Google TV, AirPlay on supported Apple receivers, and DLNA. Some Samsung, LG or Roku devices require their matching protocol or receiver. Phone and display must be on an accessible network. Formats, controls and services vary by device and provider. DRM-protected content is not supported and no protection is bypassed.
SUBSCRIPTION
Features require a weekly, monthly or yearly subscription. A 3-day free trial is available to eligible users when offered by Google Play. After the trial, the selected subscription is charged and renews automatically unless canceled before the trial or current period ends. Google Play shows the price and terms before confirmation. Manage or cancel your subscription in Google Play. The TV receiver stays free.
PrismaCast is an independent app, unaffiliated with the brands and platforms mentioned.
