About this app

Payback keeps track of who owes whom. Record money you gave, got and spent, split expenses with friends, flatmates and groups, follow bills and repayments, and settle up without arguments or spreadsheets.

Three actions cover everyday money between people:
• I gave – money you handed to someone
• I got – money someone gave you
• I spent – your own expense, or one split with others

Payback is a record of what happened. It never connects to your bank, never moves money and never lends money. When you record a payment, you update your own ledger.

Your app now connects to owejar.com while preserving your sign-in and records. Shared expenses retry after temporary server interruptions. Reopen rejected expenses from saved changes to correct the split and submit again. Includes fixes for recovering expenses involving people who left a group.
