We've been asked - why another golf rangefinder app? There are so many already, like GolfShot, 18 birdies, Golf Pad, Hole19, GolfLogix, Arccos, SwingU, GolfNow, Grint and more. As avid golfers, we've tried them all and we never found a perfect golf app. Some lacked critical features and some were clunky and distracting on the course. So we combined our software and design expertise with our passion for golf to create something new. A golf app that is easy to use, beautiful and truly helpful. Something we want to use every day and something we hope you will like too. Something as good or better as having an extra club in your bag!

12/2 update - just downloaded the latest update and am blown away with the improvement. The plays like metrics are spot on, and the UI is nicely refreshed. Keep it up! Blown away by the imagery. Watch app is excellent with also graphics. Would like to see the "play like" feature that takes into consideration the elevation and wind. Keep it up! I currently have a subscription to golfpad but this is a better experience.

Fantastic app! The most recent update allows you to change the date on a round, if entering a past round. Added plays like and club recommendations! To make this the best app, please add stats for us to look at. Bar graphs or pie charts showing GIR, fairways hit, putts per round and sand saves.

Please keep upgrading the app! I can see this is going to be great! I love having just my watch, because I hate using my phone during rounds. Would love shot tracking, layup calculations and plays like distances and some customization on the app (colors, layouts etc). Right now the smartcaddie app has the ideal feature set but it's buggy as all get out. You do the same features without the bugs... Man there's no stopping you!

What's new

Added plays like distances. It takes into account many factors like elevation change to the target, course altitude, wind, current temperature and more to help you to make critical decisions on the golf course. Use toggle in distance panel to switch between gps and plays like distances!

Added club recommendation. Our intelligent algorithm provides you advice on the best club to choose for the shot.
