I've used this app 20+ times beginning with the free version. I learned the features as I went along and finally bought the premium version. There are a lot of features to use but you have to take a little time to put them to the test. The only concern I have is that you can't select the starting tee position. However, it does give you the right GPS position when you are at your starting tee. All of the features so far have worked seamlessly without a problem. I haven't tried the tag but..

I love using golf pad and tags. It's typically accurate, there has only been 2 courses with incorrect info but no big deal. I gave it a 3 star review because the app is just outdated and can use a much needed face lift in looks and functionality. for example, if I played a course previously it would be nice to know what clubs I used on average for the hole and where the tracked landing spot was to see if there is improvement.

This app used to be THE best golf app available. The most recent updates have destroyed this app. My golf club tags have been intermittent and improperly recording the club. The phone lock works for a couple of holes, then I find that it's changed to some other settings page that then becomes a huge distraction to my game. I used to be able to tap and go and simply look at my statistics at the end of the round, but not any more. I believe they can't keep up with phone software updates.
