Record what happened, what went through your mind, and how you felt.
Ema Note is a free thought journal for recording and reviewing your experiences. Use it for cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) homework, and export PDF worksheets to bring to counseling or medical appointments.
START WITH WHAT YOU CAN WRITE
Each entry has five optional fields:
• Situation: what happened, and where
• Automatic thoughts: what went through your mind
• Feelings: how you felt, and how strongly
• Physical sensations: what you noticed in your body
• Behavior: what you did
You don't need to fill in every field. Write in any one field and your entry saves automatically.
REVIEW YOUR RECORDS AND EXPORT A PDF
Find past entries in a calendar or list. Export a selected date range as an A4 PDF worksheet, up to 31 days at a time. Choose where to save or share it.
PREPARE FOR YOUR NEXT APPOINTMENT
Keep the date, location, and what you want to discuss in one place. Add a reminder for the day before if you need one. Appointment notes are separate from your records and aren't included in the PDF.
NO ACCOUNT NEEDED
Your records and appointment content are stored on your device and are not sent to our servers. Write and review offline, protect access with app lock, and export or import a backup of all your data.
Available in Japanese and English, with light and dark appearance. You may see notices about related services.
