About this app

Five minutes a day, and you can actually feel it working.

Ember is a daily brain workout built around one idea: real games that build real skills, not another timer bolted onto a set of flashcards. Every session takes about five minutes, on the commute, with your coffee, or right before bed. That is the whole ritual, and it is designed to be one you can actually keep.

WHAT YOU WILL ACTUALLY NOTICE

Ember does not just show a score climbing for no reason. It tells you, in plain language, what changed:

You now hold seven items in sequence, up from four.
You sort packages half again as fast as you used to.
You track twice as many moving targets at once.
You find longer words from the same rack of tiles.
You read a gear train without a wrong turn.
You balance a market stall against a price in one pass.

That is progress you can say out loud, not just a number that moves on its own.

SIX SKILLS, SEVEN GAMES THAT FEEL LIKE GAMES

Each game trains one skill area and plays like an actual game, with rules worth learning, not a stopwatch stuck onto a worksheet:

Light Trail (Memory): watch a sequence unfold and hold it in your head longer than you think you can.
Lantern Keeper (Focus): rotate mirrors to send each colour of light to its lamp.
Cargo Sort (Speed): sort packages against the clock without slowing down on the hard ones.
Firefly Catch (Focus): track far more moving targets at once than feels possible at first.
Word Forge (Language): pull longer, sharper words out of the same rack of tiles.
Gear Works (Logic): read a train of gears and call the turn before it happens.
Balance Market (Math): balance a market stall against a shifting price, one pass at a time.

Your Brain Fitness Score rolls all six skills, memory, focus, speed, math, logic, and language, into one number you watch move over weeks. Every game keeps its own progress line, personal best, and accuracy, so you know where you are improving and where to spend today's five minutes.

MEASURED AGAINST YOU, NOT A LEADERBOARD

There is no league table in Ember, no strangers to beat, no rank to defend. Your score is measured against your own recent form, full stop. The one shared moment is Today's Daily: a short round everyone plays on the same day, so you can compare notes with a friend without turning practice into a contest.

A STREAK THAT DOES NOT PUNISH YOU

Most streak systems make you feel bad the day you miss one. Ember's does not. Your ember ring has real, honest states: Bright when you trained today, Dim when you missed a day but the warmth is still there, Low when you have been away a while but nothing is lost, and Ash when it is simply resting and ready to relight. Miss a day and you keep what you built. It dims. It does not die. Come back whenever you are ready and pick up exactly where you left off.

BUILT FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO KEEP THEIR MINDS SHARP

Whether you are a student before exams, a professional who wants a clear head for long days, or someone who wants to keep memory and reasoning sharp as the years go by, Ember fits into pockets of time you already have. No hour long sessions, no guilt trips, no clutter. Open it, do today's five minutes, close it, and get on with your day.

WHAT YOU WILL NOT FIND

Noisy social feeds. Pay to win shortcuts. An onboarding flow stretched across fifteen screens before you play a single game. Flashy animation standing in for actual difficulty. Ember was built by cutting away everything that does not earn its place, so what is left is honest training you will actually stick with.

Ember is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition, and it is not a substitute for professional medical advice. It is a daily practice for people who want to train attention, memory, processing speed, logical reasoning, numerical estimation, and language recall in a way that is honest about what it can and cannot do.

Five minutes. Once a day. A daily brain workout you can actually keep.
Five minutes a day: real brain games for memory, focus, speed, logic & language.
