7:00 PM. The fridge is open. The same question every evening: what are we eating?
Epulo answers once and for all: one menu, one shopping trip, each with their own portions.
Every Friday we set the week: seven days of lunches and dinners featuring seasonal Italian cuisine. One dish for everyone, cooked only once, and next to each dish is the approximate portion for each adult. The shopping list is based on the menu, already totaled and sorted by section.
WHAT EPULO DOES
• The weekly menu. A system creates lunch and dinner for seven days, with the dishes that are currently in season. The menu is designed as a suggestion: you review it, change what you don't like, and you confirm it.
• One shopping trip. The whole family's ingredients, totaled and lined up by section, with the basic ingredients (milk, coffee, fruit) and any optional items you add. You check them off as you wander through the aisles.
• Portions, without counting. Adults enter once (birth year, height, weight, how much you move): Epulo indicates how much pasta for you and how much for those eating with you. Children count as extra portions, nothing else.
• Over 1,000 Italian recipes, each with its own image. Season, time, cost, clear steps, nutritional values from the CREA tables. The cookbook can also be browsed outside the menu.
• The rhythm of Friday. The new week begins in time for weekend shopping. If you want, we'll let you know: a notification on Friday. Nothing else.
• The menu and groceries leave the house. The weekly menu becomes an image to send to the family group, and the shopping list a message for those going to the supermarket. Only what you eat and what you need: no numbers, no portions.
• Bad weeks don't count. If you're away, you can say it with a tap: no menus and no shopping for that week, and when you get back, you start over as before. No streaks to break, no recovery to do.
WHAT IT'S NOT
It's not a calorie counter: the numbers stay in the background and don't chase you. It doesn't promise anything about your body and doesn't judge what you ate yesterday.
Adult data only decides HOW MUCH to put on your plate, never WHAT you eat: no meal is chosen based on who you are.
It's not medical advice. The need ranges and portions are indicative. If you're pregnant, or if you have specific health conditions or an eating disorder, talk to a professional.
No third-party trackers, no advertising. The data is stored on European servers (Frankfurt), and usage statistics can be turned off with a switch in the settings. You can download your data or delete your account from the app whenever you like.
