I was using the Food Planner app before I found Recipe Keeper. I love it so much that after inputting 4 recipes I upgraded to the pro version and consider it an excellent purchase. If you are looking for an easy to use straight forward way to keep recipes this is it. One suggestion, as I said before I was using Food Planner and have quite an extensive collection of recipes there; it would be great if I could import all of my recipes and have the source be food planner. Thanks for a great app.
Great app, very useful. Just hope you add the ability to enter in nutritional values. Would be helpful for diet tracking
Amazingly versatile! I now have hundreds of favourite recipes on computers and phone rather than books and filed copies. All available in a few clicks.
This is a great way to organize recipes from a multitude of cooking sites and food blogs. The import feature is awesome, and they're always adding support for more sites. Their support is also very responsive. I emailed them with a couple of questions and received a reply immediately. I gladly paid the $5 for the premium version and can now sync my recipes across devices.
Love this app, super easy to use. Importing feature is very user friendly, recipes and categories are easy to edit. The meal planner is also very easy to use. The only thing I find irritating is adding multiples of the same ingredient to the shopping lists adds multiple lines instead of combining the same ingredient. This will make it easy to miss something when doing a weekly shop
It is a very easy to use app and I like it a lot. However I would like to add a few comments: Today I imported 6 recipes from URL website links and the app found all 6 recipes, however it recognized the text on 3 out of 6 recipes, so I had to go and manually add pictures, ingredients, cooking instructions for those 3 recipes which is time consuming. So the app needs some kind of better recognition software because those 3 recipes had clear instructions, ingredients, pictures in those URLs but weren't able to automatically be added without me. Also, it would be great if I could import my recipes from cookbooks by taking a picture and maybe having an artificial intelligence software that can recognize ingredients, cooking instructions and a picture and inserting that info into the recipe.
