³To transact with your Extra Debit Card, you must have an active, Plaid-compatible bank account linked to Extra's services ("Partner Account"). If your Partner Account is disconnected from Extra services for any reason, you will not be able to use your Extra Debit Card. Within 30 days of the date of each transaction made using your Extra Debit Card, Extra will initiate one or more ACH debits to deduct equivalent funds from your Partner Account. These ACH debits typically deduct funds from your Partner Account within 2 to 3 business days after initiation by Extra or 14 days after your transaction depending on repayment program selected.

Constant disconnect from my "popular" bank. This app, for whatever reason, disconnects from my bank. To which you would think is an easy fix, but no. The app has a bug or a lack of processing that when you try to "update" your bank information it doesn't work. Literally, I have pressed "change my bank" a bunch of times and nothing happens. So updating my info, because payments are taken out automatically, doesnt work. And they won't let you make a payment unless you connect to your bank.

Here's the deal people. I got Extra because I had no credit. I was 18, and it helped a lot. My credit increase slowed down to about a point a month, at which I finally decided to cancel Extra. That's when the nightmare began. I cannot close my account. They keep telling me I have "pending transactions" that say complete on my view, and they're not pending in my bank. They even had the nerve to charge my membership again, and won't lock my account so nothing else hits it.

Update to my previous review: I was able to reconnect my bank, but had to call my bank directly, as no concierge was able to give me a reason as to the issues. Extra actually helped me improve my credit score for the months that I used it, and the concept is brilliant. That being said... my bank is suddenly 'not compatible,' with Plaid (who Extra uses to verify banking info, etc.), with no explanation.
