Ratings and reviews

Claims to be free, but immediately paywalls the matching features, extorting a $5 "verification fee." Edit: because they responded so quickly, saying you could still match for free, I thought maybe I was mistaken in my review claims. I just double-checked, and you CANNOT match with users without the "Verify" popup blocking you from proceeding unless you pay $5. I did revise where I claimed "all" features are blocked. They do let you make a bucket list, whatever good that does you.

Edited: It's a good app overall. Be smart and watch out for scammers. If it seems too good it probably is. Reverse image search them if you're unsure. There aren't many fake profiles but the ones I've ran into used easily found photos. Make sure to report those profiles as you come across them. I originally wouldn't have suggested paying for silver because the number of profile views was still the same as the free version, but after I updated the app the amount went up to the advertised amount.

I've been using FairyTrail for a few weeks now, and it's already led to some cool connections. There are more profiles than I expected, and the filters are pretty solid for finding fellow travelers with similar goals to yours. It feels a little jarring when you first start using the app, as the UI/UX is sometimes confusing and unclear. But, after a few days, I've figured out most features I'm excited to keep using the app as I travel through South and Central America for the next few months!
