Great app, everyone should be on this in recovery. Everything at your finger tips and such a supportive community. No one is alone and connection is the way forward

This app is helping me understand my gambling addiction. After some relapses this app helped me understand that my gambling addiction is not about chasing wins, or chasing losses. I see that each time I hit the button of a slot machine, in those few seconds as the symbols roll and I'm anticipating a "big win or jackpot" my addict brain releases small amounts of dopamine and/or other pleasure chemicals. And that's what I'm chasing. Therefore, one bet is too many and a thousand bets isn't enough.

This app won't stop us.,but if we can just stop the madness for 5 minutes, breathe and look at your picture of your loved ones in the toolkit it might just help. Then lying down listening to a podcast of someone just like us the urge might pass and you won't wake up in a couple of days broke and broken. After losing everything and running around begging for loans. People hate when you come to them in despair, they have their own problems and you end up eventually alone 😱😱😱.
