Paywall enforced, can't even try it. First they ask you a whole LOT of questions to gauge your level of the language. And when you're FINALLY done answering them they tell you you have to subscribe by paying AT LEAST $80+ before you can even try the app to see if you like it.. they give you a stupid pronunciation game to play with, which doesn't even work very well.. I think I'll stick with using chatGPT conversation mode instead of wasting my money on something I don't even know will be good

They make you go through this long onboarding and ask for payment at very end. Beware its a paid app, they don't say so Edit: The prices are shown before subscription I agree. BUT not until you go through a long 10 minutes onboarding process unaware that it's a paid app. You just waste your 10 mins if you are not willing to pay in the end but hey who cares about that

I have only been using the app for a week, and I don’t regret purchasing the annual subscription. Chatting with the tutor is a great opportunity to practice the language, and the agent is able to talk about virtually any topic. I was surprised that when I couldn’t remember an actor’s name, it was enough to describe them and mention a few movie titles, and the agent was able to tell me who it was. In addition to conversations, the app also offers pronunciation training options and games.
