It's a good attempt but the pronunciation of the AI tutor is awful. The Spanish r and rr were fleeting and only pronounced when requested. Otherwise, they sound completely American. I felt embarrassed for the bot. The pronunciation was so bad I couldn't continue. It was too distracting. So I asked for a refund of my yearly $179. They accepted, and asked for my Google Play order number, which I provided. So far, I haven't heard back. But I did get a nudge today to keep practicing my English! ??

Paywall enforced, can't even try it. First they ask you a whole LOT of questions to gauge your level of the language. And when you're FINALLY done answering them they tell you you have to subscribe by paying AT LEAST $80+ before you can even try the app to see if you like it.. they give you a stupid pronunciation game to play with, which doesn't even work very well.. I think I'll stick with using chatGPT conversation mode instead of wasting my money on something I don't even know will be good

I have only been using the app for a week, and I don’t regret purchasing the annual subscription. Chatting with the tutor is a great opportunity to practice the language, and the agent is able to talk about virtually any topic. I was surprised that when I couldn’t remember an actor’s name, it was enough to describe them and mention a few movie titles, and the agent was able to tell me who it was. In addition to conversations, the app also offers pronunciation training options and games.
