WHAT IS HALLOW Hallow is a Christian prayer app that offers audio-guided meditation sessions to help us grow in our Christian faith & spiritual lives and find peace in God. Explore over 10,000 different sessions on contemplative prayer, meditation, Catholic Holy Bible readings, music, and more.
In today’s world, we’re stressed, anxious, distracted, and often sleep-deprived. At the same time, we’re searching for deeper meaning, purpose & relationships. We believe these two challenges can be addressed with the same solution: peace in Jesus. In the end, after all, a halo in Heaven is the goal :)
Additional features to customize your prayer experience: • 3 different length options for each prayer (typically 5, 10, or 15 minutes) • Set prayer reminders to pray and journal • Include calm background music like Gregorian chant • Download & listen offline • Join a Hallow Family to share prayers, intentions, and journal reflections with one another
As Hallow is a Prayer App, the content is developed by experienced Catholic theology & spirituality guides, reviewed by senior leaders within the Catholic Church (e.g., PhDs, professors, Bishops, authors), and based on content from the approved Catholic Bible. While Hallow can be a beautiful app for Catholics, it is meant as a resource for people of all faiths & religions.

Such a disappointment. TMI all at the same time and no starting point or guidance. I've spent my trial week trying to find out how to cancel. The place to click to cancel is grayed out and doesn't work. Plus, surprise, the free app is really $69.95 a year after a 7 day trial period, WHICH YOU CAN'T CANCEL. Run, do not walk to the nearest exit!!!

I once had a paid subscription, but technically, it is flawed, so I discontinued. Nowadays, I stick with the free version. One example of the technical flaws: the app erased all of my journal entries. Another example: a downloaded or favorite clip (e.g., a song) from a playlist takes the user back to the entire playlist, not that specific clip, every single time. Again, I tolerate the issues with the free version, but as long as there are these flaws, I refuse to pay another subscription.

I love this app! I started with a 90 day free trial which was plenty of time to explore the content. Hallow has changed my life. I listen to, and read scripture throughout the day now. My only concern is there is so much content, there must be a better way to organize it. I'm always discovering new content, however. Just for the record, I received at least 3 emails from Hallow before my free trial expired. They were very upfront about charges and when I would be charged.
