About this app

Help Crew makes it easy to gather and coordinate volunteers when someone needs practical support. It can help with illness, surgery, childbirth, a new arrival, bereavement, disaster relief, or any other time a community wants to help.

Help Crew turns that goodwill into a plan. An organiser sets up a campaign for the person who needs help. Friends and family see exactly what is needed, pick a time that suits them, and put their hand up.

What you can do in the app

• See every campaign you are part of, whether you organise it, receive the help, or lend a hand.
• Open a campaign and see what is still needed, by day and by kind of help.
• Volunteer for a specific date or time, and leave a note if it helps.
• See what you have promised, and when, all in one place.
• If the help is for you, see who is coming and thank them.

The kinds of help you can organise

Meals, rides, grocery shopping, keeping company, pet minding, washing and cleaning, yard or farm work, moving things, minor repairs, help with technology, and anything else you need.

You need a Help Crew account

Create your account and your campaigns on the Help Crew website. This app is for coordinating campaigns that already exist.

Every time is shown in the campaign's own timezone, so nobody turns up at the wrong time.
