About this app

Honest Days is a time and materials tracker for people who bill for their
work — contractors, trades, and independents who need every hour and every
receipt to land on the right job.

Start a timer when you start work. Log the materials when you buy them. Both
land against the client and the project they belong to, so nothing has to be
reconstructed on a Friday night.

When it's time to bill, the invoice is already written.

TRACK TIME
• Start a timer on any project, or log hours after the fact
• Day and week views, with the total and what it's worth
• Notes on any entry, so you remember what the hours were
• Unbillable time is still tracked — it just never lands on an invoice

TRACK MATERIALS
• Record what you paid and what the client pays — the gap is your markup,
worked out as you type
• Mark an expense non-billable and it still counts toward the job's cost
• Flag what's taxable and what isn't

YOUR RATES
• A rate card of task types — framing, finish work, consultation, whatever
the work actually is
• Override a rate for one client, or for one project
• Set your currency, tax rate, payment terms and invoice numbering once, and
every invoice follows them

BUILD THE INVOICE
• Draw from a billing period, or from everything still unbilled
• Tick what goes on it and watch the totals move as you choose
• Percentage or fixed discounts and fees, applied before tax
• Finalize to lock it in and give it its number, or void it if it was wrong
• Send it as a PDF, or share a link your client can open in any browser

KNOW WHERE YOU STAND
• Billed and unbilled, per project, at a glance
• Hours and materials separated, so you can see where the money came from
• Work that's been invoiced can't be invoiced again

Your work is saved to your account, so it's there when you sign in again.

SUBSCRIPTION
Honest Days is a paid app, using it requires a subscription — monthly or yearly, or a one-time lifetime purchase if you'd rather buy it outright. The price is shown in your own currency before you buy anything. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel any time in Google Play.
