it’s electric is changing the face for public EV charging, by placing chargers where drivers without garages or driveways already park; on the street.


With the it’s electric app, you can find and favorite it’s electric EV chargers, confirm availability and start charging.


To charge, simply enter in the Charger ID found on an it’s electric EV charger into the app and click START CHARGING.

Looking for the fastest way to charge? Request an it’s electric RFID card from the app so you can simply tap the card on any charger, and go!

Nice idea I suppose, but the chargers are very slow, intended to be used overnight. That being the case, for this system to be useful there would have to be many chargers around, and you'd need one near your home. And street parking available! That's rare where I live. The chargers have no cable; they give you a detachable cable, which you keep in your car. It's not pay-as-you-go; you must maintain a prepaid balance, a system I dislike.

I'll save everyone time. App is pretty, but of course you need to jump through a bunch of hoops and sign up for yet another charging account. Only after you give them all your details, will they show you that you probably don't have any charge stalls near you.
