Android has one media volume for everything. AppVolume is a per-app volume mixer that gives every app its own volume control.
Turn the game down and keep the podcast up. Make directions louder than the music. Silence one app without touching the rest. Set a level once and AppVolume applies it every time that app plays.
WHAT IT DOES
• A volume slider for each app, from silent to full
• Mute any single app with one tap
• Your levels are remembered and applied automatically
• Shows what is playing right now, live
• Set a level in advance for apps that are not playing yet

You never have to leave what you are watching or playing.
NO ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE
AppVolume does not watch your screen or your volume keys. It does not need an accessibility service, and it never hears, records or sends your audio. It only turns a level up or down.
ONE-TIME SETUP, NO COMPUTER
Android protects other apps' audio, so AppVolume needs one permission that only the phone's developer tools can give. The app walks you through it:
1. Turn on Wireless debugging
2. Type a six-digit pairing code
3. Done. You can turn Wireless debugging off again
That is it. The permission stays through restarts and updates, so you do it once. Shizuku and root are also supported if you already use them.

GOOD TO KNOW
• Requires Android 11 or newer
• A few apps play sound in ways Android does not let anything change, such as some games with low-latency audio. AppVolume tells you when that happens instead of pretending
• When an app starts playing there can be a split second at its normal volume before your level applies
• If you use an equalizer app, it may take control of the same audio
