AuraGlow turns the HiLight LED ring on the Pixel 11 Pro, Pro XL and Pro Fold into a notification light for every app, with a color and pattern per app and per contact.
Miss the notification LED your old phone had? Out of the box HiLight only lights for favourite callers and Gemini. With AuraGlow every alert lights the ring in the app's own color, so you know what is waiting with the phone face down: a call, a message, a delivery, a reminder.
🔔 FREE
• One color per app, matched to the app's icon or taken from your wallpaper
• Pulse pattern, plus a brightness slider for how bright the ring gets
• Per-app control: turn the light on or off for any app
• Respects Do Not Disturb, pauses in Battery Saver, and stops below a battery level you pick
• Pause for an hour whenever you want the ring dark
• Built for the hardware: every light stays short by design, and the ring rests half of every ten minutes. Nothing can override these limits
• Diagnostics to send when something looks wrong, with no notification content
⭐ PRO, ONE-TIME PURCHASE, NO SUBSCRIPTION
• Per-contact colors (BETA): each person their own light in WhatsApp, Messages, Telegram, Signal, Messenger and Instagram
• Custom color per app with a full picker, nine curated palettes, and Rainbow
• Patterns: Breathe, Flash, Wave, Comet, Chase, Spin, Echo, Fill, Twinkle, Alternate, Strobe and Heartbeat
• Several apps at once: the ring splits between everything pending, or one LED per app, up to eight
• Only when face down, so the ring lights only where you will see it
• Camera light: the ring glows while any app has the camera open
• Auto-dismiss timer, quiet hours, and battery-aware brightness
• Charging indicator: the ring shows the battery level, green to red
• Every Pro feature added later, included
📱 PIXEL 11 PRO, PRO XL AND PRO FOLD
AuraGlow runs on the three phones that have the HiLight ring, on Android 17. The standard Pixel 11 has no ring.
🔧 SET UP IN A MINUTE, NO PC AND NO ROOT
Android only lets the phone's own developer tools reach the HiLight ring, so AuraGlow borrows them, right on the phone. Unlock Developer options, turn on Wireless debugging and type the pairing code Android shows you. Nothing else to install, no computer, no cable.
🔄 AFTER A RESTART OR A WI-FI CHANGE
Android switches Wireless debugging off by itself after every restart and whenever Wi-Fi changes. That is Android, not AuraGlow, and it is the usual reason the light goes dark. What to expect:
• Keep USB debugging on and a Wi-Fi change never stops the light. No cable needed.
• After a restart, AuraGlow usually turns Wireless debugging back on by itself and restarts the light once you are on a Wi-Fi you allowed before.
• When it cannot (no Wi-Fi, a new network, Developer options off), a notification says so. Switch Wireless debugging on once and the light is back.
Rooted? The light comes back by itself after every restart. Shizuku works too, but needs starting again after each restart. Both are optional.
🔒 PRIVATE AND LIGHTWEIGHT
No ads, no account. AuraGlow reads notifications only to pick the light. It sends anonymous usage stats and crash reports to fix problems, never your notifications, messages or contacts. It asks only for notification access and permission to post its own notifications for pairing.
💡 WHY AURAGLOW?
HiLight is the first real notification light on a Pixel in years. AuraGlow gives it to every app and every contact, with limits that keep the ring safe. From the developer of AuraDisplay, the on-screen notification light for phones without HiLight.
***
This app uses the NotificationListenerService to detect notifications and light the HiLight ring. No notification content is stored or transmitted. The renderer runs through Wireless debugging, root or Shizuku because only privileged components may control the ring. It has no network access and receives colors and timings only.
