About this app

Lomos is the app for people who have books at home and want to organize them, remember what they've read, and share it with whoever they live with. No ads, no tracking, no algorithms.

Designed for your physical bookstore: scan a book's barcode and add it in seconds with its cover and details. If you don't have the book handy, search for it by title or author.

▸ YOUR BOOKSTORE, COMPLETE AND WELL-ORGANIZED
• Catalog with covers, editions, locations (shelf, box, etc.), and formats (physical, ebook, audiobook).

• Powerful filters and search: by author, genre, language, year, rating, and reading status.

• Honest statistics: how many books you've read this year, your reading pace, favorite genres, and your top-rated titles.

▸ A READING JOURNAL YOU ACTUALLY USE
• Mark a book as "reading" and record when you started and finished it.

No forced gamification.

• Reviews with ratings and private notes. Quotes with a photo of the paragraph.

• If you abandon a book, you note it—no guilt.

▸ SHARE YOUR HOME WITHOUT SHARING THE WORLD
• Lomos is multi-tenant: you and your partner (or family) share ONE
bookshelf with both of your books. Each person marks what they've read.

• Loans: note who you've lent which book to and when.

• What you write is only visible to the people you invite to your bookshelf.

Lomos has no public feed, no algorithmic recommendations, no rankings, and no gamification. It's a personal app and, optionally, a family app. If you're looking for a social network for readers, this isn't for you.

▸ YOUR DATA IS YOURS
• No ads, ever.

• Anonymous analytics (without knowing who you are) to improve the app.

• Export your data to CSV/JSON whenever you want.

• Close your account and everything is deleted.
