Has issues connecting. I was a 4 star but they keep going down. Time to get rid of your app and comms guys and start again. This company has been around too long not to get this right. At some point you have to say, this isn't working and we need to retool. The smoker is great but being on a 2.4 frequency is probably part of the connectivity issue.

If I could give it zero I would. The app rarely pairs with Bluetooth. When it does it never pairs the next time. I have to constantly delete and re add the smoker. Awful. the 710 Smoker is great however. Do not hesitate to buy their smokers. Just do your monitoring by the internal temperature of the meat and set the controls manually in the smoker. Forget the app until it improves. update 2 21 2026 tried using the app again this morning. unable to connect even after deleting and reinstalli

I really really wish this would work well but it doesn't. I'd return this smoker and get something that works properly if I could. The Bluetooth doesn't connect most of the time. It repeatedly wants to update the firmware. The software in this product is just plain stupid. I have about a third of the functionality that I should have and it is very frustrating.
