App bugs. Lots of dropouts and the app doesn't do a good job keeping up with current cook times and temperatures. Luckily it's a quick fix on the grill itself. Needs a big patch. Edit - came on here because the app just won't connect to the grill anymore to discover I'd already written a review. downgrading to one star

Please fix this! If you get a failed to ignight warning from a timeout, you can't reset it, even if the temperature starts rising a bit too late for the timer. This has happened twice, and even though it rose to 450, and the fan and controller were functioning, it won't let you have any control from the app. Why would it keep functioning, reporting, and recording the temperature if it's locking you out?

The app works pretty well but is missing a few features. I wish it had better notifications for temperature reached and I wish it had a notification for a low temperature condition. When the grill is set to 225 and it is 210, I need to know about it. It's 2 years later and none of those features are a thing. I don't think the app has changed at all tbh.
