About this app
With medxpert you have full control over your medical record, safely and conveniently stored in one app on your phone. This way you no longer have to search in different patient portals and you always have your important data at hand.
On your phone in your pocket or bag.
In the medxpert app you combine the data of your GP and the hospitals where you have been treated: You are the only one who has access to that data and you can decide for yourself with whom you want to share your medical information. Is something missing, or is it wrong? Then you should contact your healthcare provider about this.
You can also take notes in the app. Then you don't forget to ask or say something when you go to the doctor, for example. And the next time you have an appointment with that doctor or specialist, you can read what has been said again, so that you can go into the conversation well prepared.
The app is also very useful if you have received medication from the doctor to set a medication alarm. If you don't take medicines often or irregularly, you sometimes forget to take them, but with the medxpert app you can set reminders and record that you have taken them.
Retrieving your medical data is done via DigiD. This is safe and trusted. DigiD is used for a lot of confidential information, including for retrieving your medical data. Very important: we cannot view your file, because all your data is on your phone and not with us or somewhere in the Cloud.
It costs you nothing to have your medical file in your pocket. Because the use of a Personal Health Environment (PHE) is encouraged by the Ministry of Health, Welfare & Sport, use of the app is free.
Get started quickly
You create an account with your email address and phone number. You download your data from your GP and hospital via DigiD. After checking your medication overview, you can set reminders.

From general practitioner to hospital to mental health care and pharmacy. All these authorities have information about your medical situation in their file. In the digital environment you can see, among other things, medication, vaccinations & notes made during consultations with your healthcare provider. This way you never have to tell your story twice and any new healthcare provider knows at a glance what your medical past and present look like. And do you want to recall what was discussed during a consultation? Then you can view this 24/7, without being dependent on the healthcare provider's agenda.
Security & privacy
The app is triple secured and data can only be retrieved via DigiD. If the data is in the medxpert app, then it belongs to you. This data therefore never ends up with third parties such as an insurer.
The MedMij quality mark provides certainty. Medxpert has the quality mark of the MedMij foundation and is therefore a certified and qualified supplier of PHEs.
The MedMij Foundation was established by the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport. Together with the Patient Federation of the Netherlands, they ensure that apps such as medxpert can exist. Many healthcare organizations participate in this.
At medxpert we are proud that our app can carry the MedMij quality mark. This quality mark was co-proposed by the Patient Federation of the Netherlands and offers you as a user the certainty and promise of a safe and reliable exchange of medical data.
