Microphone Cleaner runs a real test on your phone. It plays known tones through your speaker, listens to them with your own microphone, and turns what it hears into numbers you can read: background noise, captured level, high frequency clarity, distortion and stereo balance. Then it explains in plain words what may be wrong and what to try next.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
Quick test
One tap and about fifteen seconds. You get a microphone health score out of 100, a written verdict, and a ranked list of things to try. Every result is saved so you can compare against it later.
Guided microphone clean
Record a short before clip, run the cleaning tone, then record an after clip. The app measures both and shows you the difference. If nothing changed, it says so.
Speaker clean with proof
It measures your speaker, runs the cleaning tone, then measures again. You see whether the port actually cleared instead of taking an app's word for it.
Live microphone meter
Watch your input level in real time, read the noise floor of the room you are in, and see whether your phone gives apps one channel or two.
Recording test
Record a clip and listen back. Your ears catch muffling that numbers can miss. Clips stay on your phone so you can compare them later.

BEING HONEST WITH YOU
Sound cannot physically clean your phone. A loud low tone makes the speaker push air hard, and that vibration can shake a water droplet or a loose speck of dust out of a port. That is worth trying and it does help. It cannot pull out packed lint or sticky grime, it cannot reach anything lodged deep inside, and it cannot repair a microphone that is damaged.
That is exactly why this app measures. When the readings do not move, it tells you plainly and points you toward gentle manual cleaning or a repair shop, instead of pretending the job is done.
