The bleeding of watercolors, the raised texture of oil paints, the roughness of pencil marks on paper.

This painting app uses physical simulation to recreate over 60 art materials and 28 types of paper.

When you place the brush, the paint soaks into the paper and spreads.

If you layer another color before it dries, the edges will bleed and blend.

If you layer after it dries, the underlying color will show through.

The app calculates what happens between the paint, water, and paper with every brush movement.

■ Realistic Mixing

Paints are mixed just like real pigments.

Mixing blue and yellow creates green, and mixing too much results in a muddy color.

Adding more water allows the paint to spread smoothly, while less water leaves brushstrokes.

・Transparent Watercolors (11): Bleeding, mixing, water amount, drying. Pouring, washing, quick drying, granular, stain, lift, water brush, etc.
• Oil paints (9 brushes): Paint thickness, buildup, brushstrokes. Round brush, flat brush, round-flat brush, sable, impasto, scamble, blender, etc.
• Pencils (14 brushes): 4B / 2B / HB / F, with three sharpening methods: standard, thick lead, and chisel. Waxed lead and soft lead included.
• Colored pencils (6 brushes): Oil-based and waxed leads, with three sharpening methods. Layering, burnishing.
• Pastels (6 brushes): Soft and hard, with three sharpening methods. Can be used to create large areas by holding the pastel at an angle.
• Crayons (7 brushes): Wax application and streaking when rubbed. Blending, gloss, dry, scratching.
• Gold and silver leaf (4 brushes): Brushes for applying after brushing the base coat, and brushes for applying only the leaf.
• Airbrushes (5 brushes): Spray, uniform, spatter, fine spray, powder spray. The coarseness of the lines changes depending on the air pressure.
• Digital (2 tools): A pen for uniform lines and an airbrush for blending.

■ Lines change depending on the paper (28 types)

• Watercolor paper: Rough, medium, fine, hot press, cotton coarse, drawing paper, block paper, handmade coarse
• Japanese paper: Kozo, Kumohada hemp paper, Gasen paper, Torinoko, hemp paper
• Drawing paper: Kent paper, drawing paper, craft paper, sketchbook paper, charcoal paper, pastel paper
• Canvas: Cotton, linen, wooden panel, board (wood grain)
• Others: Plain, recycled paper, smooth white paper, grid, ruled

You can freely choose the paper color. You can adjust the coarseness, water retention, and absorbency for each type of paper.

The paper selection screen includes samples of each paper's texture.

■ Tilt your device and the paint will flow

Wet paint will drip in the direction you tilt your device using the gyroscope.

Once it dries, it will stay in that shape.

■ The painting process is automatically recorded as a time-lapse video

The entire process, from start to finish, is automatically recorded as a 15x speed video.

No settings or operations are required. It can be played within the app and exported as an mp4 file.

■ View with lighting

You can customize the lighting that illuminates your painting.

Up to 8 lights can be placed, and their position, height, arm length, illumination point, intensity, color temperature, and light source size can be adjusted.

Ambient light and saturation are applied to the entire image.

The appearance of oil paint textures and gold leaf reflections changes depending on the angle of the light.

■ Three brush types

You can switch between brush, eraser, and finger.

Smoothing with your finger spreads the paint. The pencil eraser is a kneaded eraser, removing ink without damaging the paper.

■ Uninterrupted drawing

・Draw with one finger, switch grip with two fingers (move, zoom, rotate)

・Long press for eyedropper

・Tap with two fingers to undo, three fingers to redo

・Thickness and opacity can be changed while drawing, as they remain displayed on the bar (values ​​are saved per brush and mode)

・Automatically saves when you stop drawing. Saved even when returning to the home screen.

Supports stylus pen pressure, tilt, and orientation.

Tilting the pen tilts the brush.

■ Storing Colors

There are three ways to store colors: color wheel, color palette, and slider. Used colors are saved in the history.

You can create any number of palettes. Colors can be moved by grabbing each frame, and the palettes themselves can be rearranged.

Dragging a color button on the screen fills the enclosed area.

You can adjust later how much of the image is considered the same color.

■ Layers

- Add, delete, toggle visibility, opacity, name, thumbnail
- Long press to grab and rearrange
- Clip to the layer below
- 20 blend modes (Multiply, Screen, Overlay, Dodge, Burn, Hue, Saturation, Brightness, etc.)
- Erase contents / Fix wet color
- Change the background color at the bottom
- Filters: Binarize, Extract line art
- Move/Transform: Automatically grabs the drawn area, stretches at the corners, rotates with the top knob

■ Adjusting the contents of the art materials

Brush parameters can be freely changed.

For watercolor: Amount of water and pigment, dryness, capillary action, granularity, backrun.

For oil paint: Number of bristles, groove depth, pressure, push-back, color return.

For pencil: Ratio of graphite and clay, wax coating, paper crushing.

■ Transferring Your Artwork

• PNG / JPEG: As an image file

• mp4: Time-lapse video

• .mgn: Artwork file. Transfer to another device and continue drawing directly.

Artwork can be rearranged on the home screen and grouped into folders when stacked. Duplication is also possible.

Paper size can be selected from screen size, square, or large square, or entered numerically (up to 8192px per side).

Artwork can also be created from photographs.

For overly large photos, you can choose to use them at their original size or resize them.

It runs smoothly even on your smartphone.

No internet connection is required to draw. No account registration is necessary, and it can be used offline.
