White Noise is one button and one sound: steady, even white noise. Tap it, the noise starts. Tap again, it stops.

It's a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Pay once and it's yours for good, no ads, no account, no recurring fees, no screens to dig through to find the thing you came for.

The sound is generated on the device in real time rather than looped from a recording, so there's no seam or repeating pattern to notice once you've been listening for a while.

Playback keeps running when you lock your phone or switch apps, with play/pause controls on the lock screen and in the notification shade. A home screen widget adds one-tap play/pause and volume buttons without opening the app.

By default, starting the noise pauses whatever else is playing, the same way any other audio app would. If you'd rather keep it going while you watch videos or listen to music and podcasts, turn on "Mix with other audio" in settings and the two play together.

No internet permission either. The app doesn't collect or send any data, has nothing to advertise, and doesn't need a network connection to work.
