About this app

Noote is a minimalist notes and knowledge app built around Markdown and rich text—designed for focus, fast capture, and a UI that stays out of the way. Whether you’re collecting ideas or building a personal knowledge base, Noote keeps the workflow simple.

Why Noote?
Simple. Fast. No clutter. Capture, organize, and sync your knowledge—with E2EE when you want the server to store encrypted content, not readable plaintext.

Privacy and your data
Choose a standard workspace or enable end-to-end encryption (E2EE) so note contents are protected with keys on your devices. You stay in control of your vault, recovery materials, and how you work across phones, tablets, and desktops.

Local-first, works offline
Your notes stay usable offline with automatic sync when you’re back online. Edits are queued locally and replayed safely so you can keep working on a train, on a plane, or anywhere coverage drops.

Everywhere you write
Sign in on multiple devices and pick up where you left off. When the same note changes in two places, built-in sync conflict handling helps you resolve differences instead of silently losing work.

Richer notes, not heavier UI
Markdown and rich text in one editor, keyboard shortcuts for power users, instant auto-save, and dark mode for late-night sessions. Attach images and files directly in notes (drag, drop, or upload)—so references and screenshots live with the ideas they support.

Own your knowledge
Noote is built as a Progressive Web App: quick to open, light on storage, and easy to install. Import and portability workflows help you bring notes in from other tools and keep a copy of your work on your terms.

Start writing and organizing with Noote today.
