Changing your notification sound should take seconds. Instead most guides tell you to plug your phone into a computer and move a file into a folder called Notifications, and newer phones have quietly dropped the option to add one at all.

This app does that part for you.

Pick a sound, tap where it should go, and it is your notification, your ringtone, your alarm, or the alert for one specific app. No file manager, no cable, no settings maze.

FORTY SOUNDS TO START WITH

Short, clean tones built for a phone in a quiet room. Bamboo, Ping, Droplet, Marimba, Harp, Tick and more, most of them under two seconds, because a notification is not meant to be a song. Play any of them straight from the list before you commit to one.

SET IT WHERE YOU WANT IT

Default notification sound, for every app that has not picked its own.
Phone ringtone, for incoming calls.
Alarm sound, for new alarms.

BRING YOUR OWN AUDIO

Add a file you already have and use it exactly as it is. Trim a long track down to the few seconds that actually matter. Or record something with the microphone, a voice, a whistle, whatever you like.

DESIGN A CHIME FROM SCRATCH

The tone maker starts you at a preset and lets you shape it from there. Fine tune it until it sounds right, or hit Surprise me and let it hand you something you would not have thought of. Every tone is generated on the phone, so nothing has to be downloaded and nothing is licensed from anywhere else.

KEEP TRACK OF WHAT YOU HAVE

Everything you make lands in your library alongside the built in sounds. Favourite the ones you keep coming back to. Rename them, share them, or delete the experiments. The Setup screen shows exactly what your phone is playing for each slot, so you are never guessing which sound is assigned where.

SAVED WHERE ANDROID EXPECTS THEM

Your creations go into the phone's Notifications folder, which is the folder every other app looks in. That means a sound you make here shows up in your system settings and in other apps too, not just inside this one.

WHY IT IS FIDDLY WITHOUT AN APP

Android stores ringtones and notification sounds in specific media folders and expects them to be registered with the system before they appear in the picker. Some manufacturers have removed the add option from their settings entirely. This app writes the file to the right place and registers it for you, which is the whole reason it exists.
