Pocket Convert is a unit converter and trade calculator suite that works entirely on your phone — built for electricians, builders, cooks and engineers. Every conversion and calculation happens on your device: Pocket Convert has no INTERNET permission, needs no account and shows no ads.

CONVERTER — 17 CATEGORIES, 126 UNITS (FREE)
Length, area, volume, weight / mass, temperature, speed, time, pressure, energy, power, data / storage, angle, frequency, fuel consumption, cooking, torque and force — SI and imperial / US units, with factors from SI / NIST definitions. Search any unit, swap direction in one tap, set your own precision, and see the factor and formula under every result, so you can trust the number. Pin favourites to Home; every conversion lands in History and can be reopened with one tap.

CALCULATORS BY TRADE
• Electrical — Ohm's Law & power solver (any two of V, I, R, P), voltage drop (wire length, AWG or mm², copper or aluminium), resistor colour code (4/5 bands → ohms ± tolerance)
• Construction — board foot, concrete (volume + 40/60/80 lb bags), paint coverage, tile & flooring (including waste %), slope / grade / pitch
• Kitchen — ingredient weight ↔ volume by density (labelled approximate), recipe scaling
• Lab — molarity, dilution C₁V₁ = C₂V₂
• Currency — a manual-rate converter: you type the rate yourself (see below)

No account. No ads. No analytics, no tracking. Your history, favourites, settings and the rates you type live only in the app's private storage on your device, and are deleted when you uninstall. Everything works in airplane mode.

CURRENCY, HONESTLY
The currency converter uses a rate you enter yourself. The app has no internet access, so that rate is always labelled "Offline rate you set — may be stale". Live rates are never promised and never fetched.
