About this app

Pocket Sense turns the sensors already in your phone into a benchtop of measuring tools — a sound meter, light meter, compass, bubble level, vibration meter, magnetic field meter and GPS readout — that works 100% offline. No account, no ads, and nothing you measure ever leaves your phone.

SEVEN TOOLS, ONE TOOLBOX
• Sound meter — live decibel reading with min / average / max and a threshold marker
• Sound ID — on-device AI that recognises what the meter hears (voices, music, traffic, alarms and more) and shows it live with a confidence score. Audio is analysed in memory only — never recorded, stored or uploaded
• Light meter — illuminance in lux or foot-candles (lx / fc)
• Compass — heading with a true-north option and manual declination setting
• Bubble level — surface and circular bubble levels with angle readouts
• Vibration meter — see shaking as a live trace and measure its strength
• Magnetic field — field strength in µT, handy for locating magnets, wires and metal objects
• GPS tools — coordinates, altitude, speed and accuracy as plain numbers — a gps coordinates offline readout with no maps to download

HONEST READINGS
A phone is not a calibrated laboratory instrument. Sound levels are estimates based on your phone's microphone hardware — useful for comparing places and moments, not a certified measurement. You can apply your own calibration offset in Settings, and the app never dresses an estimate up as more than it is.

RECORD, REVIEW, EXPORT
Record any meter into a session, review your sessions with min / average / max statistics, and export them as CSV files you can open anywhere. Files are created on your device and leave it only when you choose to share them.

FREE AND PRO
Every live meter is free, with your 3 most recent sessions kept. Pocket Sense Pro unlocks unlimited sessions, session charts, CSV export with sound labels, sound-event timelines and watch alerts, calibration profiles and advanced logging for a single $3 one-time payment — lifetime access, no subscription. There are no ads on Free or Pro.

Made for Android 7.0 and up.
