PrivyShare helps you share messages and files privately — end-to-end encrypted, with control that stays with you.

WHY PRIVYSHARE
• End-to-end encryption for packages you send and receive
• Local encrypted vault on your device (AES-256-GCM); keys in the device secure store
• Share with people you already trust — contacts and small groups, not a public feed
• Optional expiry and “app only” rules so content isn’t freely exported

HOW IT WORKS
1. Set your name and create your identity on this device
2. Exchange a contact card (QR or code) and verify the safety number
3. Seal a message or file into a .privyshare package
4. Send it the way you already share files (or via optional relay for larger packages)
5. The recipient opens it in PrivyShare — only with the right keys

BUILT FOR REAL PRIVACY
PrivyShare is designed so sensitive content doesn’t live as clear text on someone else’s server by default. Device security settings (lock, biometrics, screenshot block) apply on your phone — they don’t force the same settings on a contact’s device.

GOOD FOR
• Sharing contracts, IDs, medical or work files more carefully
• Private notes and attachments between people who already know each other
• Small teams that need encrypted exchange without a noisy social network

LANGUAGES

NOTE
No cloud account is required to start. Some advanced options (e.g. org relay) are optional and configurable.

What’s new

Open attachments more reliably: images, PDFs, and media preview in the app; app-only files no longer open in other apps. Rename contacts when several people share the same name. Clearer chat header and more stable share flow.
