Rhyma is a poetry game where people write poems together, one line at a time and mostly in the dark.

You start with the latest line and add your own. Then someone else takes over, perhaps on the other side of the world. Nobody knows the whole poem until the last line is in. Sometimes the result is delightful nonsense; sometimes it's better than anything one person could have planned.

Write with strangers in World, or create a private Circle for friends, family, or coworkers and invite them to join. The game stays the same; you simply know who is writing with you. Poems in your Circle stay with your group.

How it works
• Add a line to a poem in progress. You start with just the latest line for context.
• You have about three minutes. Rhyme or don't—it's up to you.
• Start a poem of your own with 4, 8, 12, or 16 lines and see where other people take it.
• Create a private Circle and invite the people you want to write with.
• When the last line is added, every contributor gets to read the whole poem.

Play with rhyme
Play it as a rhyme game: find a rhyme for the line before yours and see what the next person does with it. Or write in free verse and follow an image, a joke, or a thought instead. A clever rhyme is welcome, but the poem can change direction with every new voice.

You don't need experience writing poetry. Someone else's line gives you a place to start, and you only have to think of what comes next. It can be a way to try creative writing or simply have fun with words. Even a very ordinary line can lead somewhere odd once another person adds theirs.

A little entertainment, one line at a time
Rhyma is for poets, people who would never call themselves poets, and anyone who likes word games and doesn't mind a strange result. Add a line during a break and come back later to find out how the poem ended. Your friends can take their turns when they're around; you don't all have to be online together.

The finished poem is part of the fun. Read everyone's lines in order, see who wrote each one, and leave a reaction or a comment. That rhyme you spent your turn thinking about might be part of a completely different story by the end.

Each paid 24-hour Boost permanently lets you create one more private Circle. Optional rewarded ads refill energy; they don't add Circle slots.
