Sakura Speak seems to not take in-progress learners into account, with the only options being "I quit japanese" and "Im new to japanese", presented by a not so intuitive "yes or no" prompt. Additionally, on free speak, I was only able to get 4 responses in before I was kicked out and presented with a premium upgrade popup, which made the app seem not so friendly for users on a budget, especially with how expensive even the cheapest of plans are. Overall, promising but a little lackluster.

I have been having issues using the app, the lessons on here are fine and do help to learn, but a few updates ago it started going poorly. instead of properly translating the ai Japanese sentence, it translates my previous message. when clicking the break down and explanation button the format isn't always the same, sometimes it gives a very basic simple break down and other times it's detailed and is much more helpful in understanding each particle or word used. this used to be much better.

it was very good at frist but than we couldn't use the speak learning style because of having to pay a big amount. what if the families are struggling financially but just want to learn Japanese, i thought this app was used for free but it isn't kinda a huge dissapoint but ill recommend it for those who are able to pay. this is based on my experience and opinion sakura speak is a very good learning up for Japanese but just as i said there need some payment and if your up for it this app for you
