This app is great, but for Korean, specifically, the sounds of the hangul letters are not all that accurate and sound very similar when not all are. Also, the writing aspect of the characters is irritating. You can't be too long or short, and you have to be really straight or it will say it's wrong, which is annoying. Also, when actually writing in hangul, not all the strokes are separate... some are because they start somewhere else but... the app separates each stroke, which is annoying.

I was going to pay for the monthly Premium experience but all of a sudden it is no longer available. Just lifetime and yearly. Thts sad so 1 star for tht. But giving it 2 more stars for the initial experience (w/o paying anything). For those who can afford the yearly or lifetime plan go for it. The set up is nice. I was learning very well.

This app forces recall memory, and not just recognition memory. That's the key to actually learning, being able to remember the words when you need them and not just recognizing when someone feeds the words to you. The app is great at giving the right amount of repetition, without becoming dull. things stay interesting, and it will come back later to a topic when more practice is needed. low stress.
