Scrool is an app that seeks to minimize the physical strain to do the most common action on phones: scrolling. By tapping on the touchpad, you can trigger a swipe at the location of the cursor.
Things you can do:
- Tap to scroll in any direction from the cursor's location
- Drag your finger on the touch pad to move the cursor.
- Two-finger tap the touch pad to move or resize it.
- Customize the action triggered when you tap, long press, or fling on a center button or on 4 different regions on the touch pad.
Some of the actions you can assign include: swipe, tap, long press, home, recent apps, notifications, apps, and more...
Permissions
Package (App) Visibility Permissions (QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES) are required to enable you to select an installed app and modify Scrool's behavior when that app is launched.
AccessibilityService API permissions are required for core app functionality:
- Perform scroll, tap and other input actions when you interact with Scrool's floating touch pad window.
- Detect when a new app is active so that Scrool can modify its behavior based on your configurations, e.g. increase the scroll strength for a particular app.
Display over other apps permissions are required to show the floating touch pad and cursor while other apps are active.
Privacy
No personal data or data from the package visibility and AccessibiltyService permissions is collected by Scrool for any purpose besides the core functionality of the app described above.
