Dawnwren is the simpler version of that call. Your loved one taps a big "I'm OK" button once a day. If they forget, the app gently nudges them — and only if they really don't respond do you get a notification.

No surveillance. No background location tracking. No AI guessing how Mom feels. Just a daily ritual that keeps the family connected.

HOW IT FEELS DAY-TO-DAY
- Your loved one opens the app, taps a big calm button, gets a small green checkmark, closes the app. Total time: 5 seconds.
- You — the caregiver — open your phone, glance at "People I Care For", see a green dot next to their name, close your phone. Done.

WHEN SOMETHING'S OFF
- The app reminds them an hour before their daily window ends.
- If they don't tap, it nudges them again, gently.
- If they STILL don't tap, you get a notification: "Mom hasn't checked in." Not before. Not louder than necessary.
- If their phone is dead or out of battery, you get a different alert: "Mom's device may be off."

AT NIGHT
- Sleep mode pauses all of this during their configured sleep hours. No 3 AM panic alerts.

WHEN THEY NEED HELP NOW
- The big red Help button sends an immediate message to every emergency contact via SMS, email, or Telegram. Templates are customizable. Your loved one can summon you with one tap.

EVERY ALERT IS SAVED
- A built-in notifications inbox keeps every escalation, health alert, and missed check-in — so a swiped-away push is never a lost message.
- An escalation history shows exactly when, why, and who was notified.

WHAT IT'S NOT
- Not a medical device, and not a substitute for a professional medical alert or emergency service.
- Not surveillance. We don't track your location in the background, your browsing, or your sleep. (The "I'm Safe" button shares your location only the moment you tap it.) You can read the privacy policy in 4 minutes.
- Not chatty. No notifications "to keep you engaged" — we notify you when something matters.
