TalkLocalAI is a face-to-face voice translator for travel in Hong Kong, China, Japan, Thailand, Korea, Malaysia and the Philippines. Two buttons, Me and Them, make it a two-way conversation translator: hold, speak, release, hear it back. It is a Cantonese translator first: real Cantonese, never silently swapped for Mandarin. Everything runs on your phone, so it works with no internet: no roaming data, no SIM card, no account.

HOW IT WORKS • Hold "Me", speak, release. Your words are translated and spoken aloud. • Hand the phone over. They hold "Them", reply, and you hear it in your language. • A running conversation log keeps every turn on screen so nobody loses the thread.

7 LANGUAGES, DONE PROPERLY Cantonese (廣東話), Mandarin (中文), Japanese (日本語), Thai (ไทย), Korean (한국어), Malay (Bahasa Melayu) and Filipino, plus English. Cantonese is real Cantonese, never silently swapped for Mandarin. Use it as a Japanese translator, Thai translator, Korean translator, Malay translator or Filipino translator, on the same two buttons.

WORKS OFFLINE, NO INTERNET Download the language packs once on Wi‑Fi, then translate anywhere: on the MTR, in a taxi, at a night market, in a clinic. Airplane mode works fine.
