I was a bit skeptical of this app, but it's actually really good! It reminds me a lot of Duo before it got all flashy and always yelling at you to subscribe. This one barely tells you to sub, and gives a lot for free. I really do enjoy the kanji lessons here, I think they're well done. However, I really can't stomach the thought of paying such a high priced subscription for a single app. I wish I could just buy the kanji part or individual collections separately and keep them forever.

This is the best app I have found for learning both Korean and Japanese. I've studied both previously but decided to start from the beginning again with this app. The lessons flow logically, the native speaker videos are helpful for listening, and the comics are a fun way to practice reading comprehension. I love the way the reviewing is set up, and the grammar explanations are easy and informative. I was in a Korean language slump for a while, but this app has really helped me overcome it!

5 months into the Korean language section of the app. I'm presently in Beginning 2. I use almost every feature of the app and have no regrets. I highly recommend it, worth every penny. I do suggest that at some point you make a Korean friend to practice with or supplement speaking with some other app, like ITalki. I just met a Korean who needs to learn English, so we'll be helping each other. Be disciplined, practice and memorize every day. If I'm doing it, you can too!

Using YuSpeak makes learning Korean way more manageable, and youβll actually be able to hold real conversations with the natives! Pair it with your own methods like teaming up with a language buddy, we believe youβll keep improving steadily. Step by step, your Korean is going to soar!
