About this app
Cutwright Calculator is a pipe trades calculator for pipefitters, steamfitters, plumbers, sprinkler fitters and welders. It looks and works like a hardware calculator: a dark chassis, real keys and a clear LCD. Enter dimensions the way you read them off the tape, in feet, inches and fractions or in metric.
OFFSETS
• Simple and rolling offsets: set, roll, run and travel
• Any fitting angle, plus the standard 45, 22.5, 60, 30, 11.25 and 90 degree angles
• Solve for travel, run or angle from what you know
FITTINGS AND CUTS
• Elbow take-out for long and short radius elbows, at any angle
• NPT thread makeup
• Cut length for welded and threaded pipe
• Miter segments: joint angle and setback for multi-piece bends
SLOPE AND FLOW
• Drain slope in inches per foot or percent, and total drop over a run
• Flow velocity and pipe volume
PIPE DATA
• Carbon steel Schedule 10, 40 and 80
• Stainless steel 10S and 40S
• Copper tube type K, L and M
• Outside diameter, inside diameter, wall, weight per foot and water content
