Finally found an app to play the music from video games of old! Had to search for chip tunes.. App is great even has a cool simple visualizer. It doesn't read all of the files the same though. Nintendo files can be read one after another while Genesis files need to be accessed one at a time, going into one file, backing out, then going into another.. First World Problems! 😅 I'm grateful for this app and Your hard work and I look forward to the future of this app. 🙏♾️

Excellent app missing only two features imo. 1) playlist and main window should be able to display the name of the zip or folder a given track is stored in. I add multiple zips and/or folders to the playlist and the zip/folder name is effectively the "album/game" they are from. Once added I have no idea what's what without seeing that name. 2) would be lovely if this was an android auto compatible music app. I play chiptunes in my car often and needing to directly touch my phone isn't safe.

I have no idea why do you need to see archive filename while embedded meta information (title, author) is available.

I can't get it to play music. I have a new (refurbished) Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. I have not played music with it yet, except on zophar's domain I played a moment of chip tunes om thier site. This player won't load anything so far. It won't respond to selecting "add". At the top it shows "detected problems optimizing battery use...." But, zxtune doesn't appear on the list, none if which are optimized, when I pick "set up optimization". Swiping worked. I wish the app was more intuitive at 1st
