The app is basically a darts scorekeeper for the classic version of Cricket, the most popular darts game in the USA. Simple Cricket is simple, free and does not require an internet connection. It can be installed on a smartphone or tablet, thus replacing the old chalk board. It can be played with two people and the number of users stored is unlimited. The settings are simple, selecting users and setting the number of games to play. The Quick Game button automatically sets up a game with Player 1, Player 2 and a leg. At the end of the match, you can review a simple summary and immediately restart with another match via Rematch.
In this classic version of the game the sectors used are 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and the Bull (Classic version). The other areas are not taken into consideration. Each sector must be hit three times (the double is worth two, the triple is three, the green bull is one and the red bull is two. When a sector is hit three times by the same player, the number is open. The player who opened the sector can continue hitting it, thus obtaining points (for example the triple 20 earns 60 points). When the opponent also hits the open sector three times, it becomes closed and removed from the game. The game ends when all the numbers are closed and the player with the highest score wins. Remember that a big advantage is to go first.
How to keep score in the app
example: if the first dart hit 20, the second hit T20 and the third hit the wrong target, I have to press 20, T20 and Enter. However, if I miss the target with the first two darts and hit a green bull with the last one, I have to press SBULL and Enter. Miss should be pressed if all three darts are off target. The Back button goes back one dart at a time.
