Ratings and reviews

Not really beginner friendly. The clockwise & counterclockwise stuff isn't really explained much, no descriptions for how algorithms work, no natural learning process. Each lesson tells you that the cube can only be in a few different states, but by stage 3, I double checked everything, the app was just wrong. I learned much more smoothly when watching a random person explain it on YouTube before, but I've been taking a break from YouTube so I'm going to look at other apps.

app had an update now the guides are way more annoying to follow. cant skip steps. ui is massive and cant see as many moves in a row to learn patterns. go back to last update

This app has everything you need to know to easily solve the Rubik's Cube. I also bought the official book for quicker reference, but there is actually a part in the book that is wrong, but is right in this app. I found that there is one part that the book explains better and one part that this app explains better, so they work well together. That said, if you have to choose one, this app is as good as the book, and a lot cheaper.
