About this app

This app, trademarked as "MILIEU METER," is an all-purpose psychrometric calculator and a local weather sensor (in the continental US). It can also read Bluetooth data from an optional remote sensor. The sensor may be used in different areas to provide psychrometric data from that location. The app will work with the sensor, even if there is no WIFI present, as it is based on internal Bluetooth communication signals.

This app is primarily designed for HVAC students and technicians but is equally appealing to homeowners who want to know more about their local weather conditions. Balloonists, hikers, and campers will be interested in the multiplicity of data points provided (24 to date) and service personnel who enter enclosed vaults and underground enclosures will appreciate the optional remote Bluetooth sensor which informs the user of the immediate surrounding conditions.

This sensor is trademarked as @MO, a fun name for an atmospheric sensor. The @MO reads temperature, humidity, air pressure, and VOCs, or Volatile Organic Compounds. While the @MO doesn't differentiate between specific VOCs, it can inform the user if there are dangerous amounts of these gasses present.

MILIEU METER shines as a psychrometric calculator, and is the first known available app of this type. As a calculator, the app allows the user to enter the temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure and receive 21 additional points of data (with more coming in future releases as users make requests).

Future apps will focus on reading multiple @MO devices for indoor agricultural and horticultural business, manufacturers, and labs.
