The Magenta Parental Control app protects your child while browsing the internet – on any network and any device. The app has been completely redesigned for comprehensive, browser- and app-independent protection.

• Full browser protection – No longer just Chrome! The new Safe Connection protects all data traffic across all browsers and apps.

• Protection on all networks – Whether mobile data, home Wi-Fi, or public Wi-Fi – your child is now protected everywhere.

• Location tracking – See where your child's device is at any time.

• Geofencing – Define safe zones (e.g., school, home) and receive notifications when they enter or leave.

• Push notifications – Instantly notify you of blocked access and unblocking requests.

• Unified web dashboard in Magenta One – Manage all protection products in one interface.

• Advanced statistics – Detailed blocking history and usage statistics.

How to update

1. Update the app via the Google Play Store

2. Open the app and follow the instructions to set up the new Safe Connection

3. Enable "Always-On VPN" in your device settings for automatic protection after every restart

Important notes

• Requirement: Active Magenta contract with parental control option
• Compatible with Android 9 and higher

• Other VPN apps and Apple iCloud Private Relay must be disabled
• All data will be stored in accordance with GDPR compliant processing

• The app uses the "Android Accessibility API" to check your browsing history and block inappropriate and dangerous websites. You will be reminded of this during the app setup.
