Strike Guide AU is a practical freshwater field guide for anglers who want to read the water more clearly.
It helps you notice what is happening in front of you: wind, water clarity, structure, species behaviour, lure movement, pressure trend, and surface changes.
Rather than predicting catches or telling you there is one “best” lure, Strike Guide AU supports your judgement in the field. It helps you slow down, compare what you see, and build your own understanding over time.
Use Strike Guide AU to:
• Choose a supported water manually or by nearby location
• Generate a Quick Read or Deeper Read based on conditions and target species
• Compare lure behaviour and presentation context
• Learn what to notice on lakes, reservoirs, and rivers
• Save reads and build your own private field journal
• Keep notes about what you noticed, tried, and learned
Strike Guide AU can sit beside your usual fishing tools, maps, weather apps, and regulation checks. Its purpose is different: helping you interpret the water in front of you.
Privacy is part of the design. Your Notebook is stored locally on your device. There is no public catch feed, no account requirement, and no social posting system.
The Free Version includes the core field-reading experience with limited saving.
The Full Version is a one-time unlock that expands local saving, including unlimited saved reads, Field Notes, saved waters, and Notebook history. No subscription.
Strike Guide AU is focused on Victorian freshwater fishing at launch. Some waters, regions, species, or conditions may be missing or incomplete while the app grows.
