Avessia helps you understand personal care and cosmetic ingredient labels before you buy.

Most scanner apps start with a barcode. That can be fast, but it depends on a product record being complete, current and correct. If the product is missing, region-specific, reformulated or incorrectly listed, the result may not reflect the actual label in front of you.

Avessia takes a different approach.

It reads the actual ingredient label using advanced server-side OCR, matches the ingredients against a curated database of more than 26,000 personal care and cosmetic ingredients, and produces an evidence-backed product safety score.

The label is the source of truth.
