Backed by our own chase experience, we are convinced that ChaseBuddy, which conveniently centralizes the myriad of available data into one app, will be a real asset for the European community of weather enthusiasts and storm chasers.

Our app offers the following features:

European Radar Network – View data from individual radar sites across France, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Spain, Italy, Romania, Bulgaria, Estonia, Iceland, Sweden, and Finland. Available radar products include reflectivity and radial velocity.

Live Lightning Monitoring – Track real-time lightning strikes with cluster detection, movement extrapolation, and historical storm metrics.

Satellite Imagery – Access both infrared and visual satellite layers for a broader atmospheric overview.

Synoptic-Scale Guidance – Explore GFS model data as an aid to interpreting large-scale weather patterns.

Realtime Severe Weather Parameters – Follow CAPE observations across Central and Western Europe to assess thunderstorm potential.
